New Balance 999 x 1600

Pastel is the future...I can certainly see my future in pastel colored footwear with the New Balance new kicks. At first, I was trying to process how I would wear these, or simply how I would fit them into my wardrobe but I think they add a bit personality a bit of a "soft edge".

I love mint green, so these trainers are winners for me, the combined colour palette I think is a bit strong, so much pastel but its cute and there is certainly a market for it...whether its 14 and 15 year olds, there is a market.

MOSCHINO!!

Milan Fashion Week, well darling did you see Charlotte Free, skate down the Moschino catwalk, yes I'm sure you did. I want to give my full opinion...it's nice, but personally its a lovely concept and Jeremy Scott clearly had fun...but I'm not a massive fan of "kitsch cool", or whatever it is.

Yes, Barbie girls in a Barbie World is exactly what Moschino is offering...and sweet Lord isn't it all very playful and cute. All in all, well done to Scott for having fun but My Gawd...what a nightmare the McDonalds was enough, somebody is trying to give me a heart attack.

LFW : CAN ONES ATTIRE BE FIYAH?

For Fashion Week, I wanted to make a statement something that would like cool in the afternoon when I attended shows and something that would turn heads in the evening. I've had the pink wig for ages, but I just wanted a little change it was well received.

The socks, well to be fair I couldn't find the light blue other pair so I thought why not eh? After all fashion is what you make it, the lace leotard is from AmericanApparel...it is quite form fitting but lovely nevertheless. The loafers are from Topshop, they are lush in every way..I'm not a big fan of patent footwear but My God are this pair lush!

EDELINE LEE

On Sunday, I had the pleasure of attending designer, Edeline Lee SS15 presentation. Placed in a marquee just outside Somerset house, the marquee was on the River Terrace off Somerset House. Edeline, revealed her new collection from feminine tailored shapes accompanied memorable and feminine flattering colors. The pieces reflect rules and principles one would find in architecture, structured tailoring is a key feature and trait of Edeline Lee's collections.

Such as, baby blues, blushing pinks and harsh yellows, the shapes and outline of the pieces combined modern tailoring e.g clean cut lines and eye catching details. The presentation encased one or two models in colour themed boxes, which reflected their clothing.

Inspiration for Edeline, derives from the process of restoring and decorating her Victorian House in East London. "I discovered that the construction in building is not all that different from construction in clothing." This quote from Edeline, really did allow her pieces to have a certain quality to them we hadn't seen in a while from fashion.

Art Movements.

I was an ArtHistory student, and hands down it was the best 2 years of my life. I love art, I love the variety, the power of mediums  and the communication it possess. I think the above collection of art movements shows the groundbreaking moments in art, obviously this trickled into the mundane life inspiring all things.
With London Fashion Week, right around the corner I am expecting to see segments of Art, movements like Burberry did with Russian constructivism, because a fusion between art and fashion is always a delight.

The Sound of COS.

I don't think I've seen anything so slick, riveting and beautiful, this is certainly a lovely way to cement the bridges between art and fashion. Dutch artists, Lernert Engelberts and Sander Plug have flawlessly given us a behind-the-curtain insight into the sleekness of fashion film. While doing so,  they have still managed to preserve an air and flair of coolness and chicness...and I love it so.
