Art Movements.

I was an ArtHistory student, and hands down it was the best 2 years of my life. I love art, I love the variety, the power of mediums  and the communication it possess. I think the above collection of art movements shows the groundbreaking moments in art, obviously this trickled into the mundane life inspiring all things.
With London Fashion Week, right around the corner I am expecting to see segments of Art, movements like Burberry did with Russian constructivism, because a fusion between art and fashion is always a delight.

The Sound of COS.

I don't think I've seen anything so slick, riveting and beautiful, this is certainly a lovely way to cement the bridges between art and fashion. Dutch artists, Lernert Engelberts and Sander Plug have flawlessly given us a behind-the-curtain insight into the sleekness of fashion film. While doing so,  they have still managed to preserve an air and flair of coolness and chicness...and I love it so.

LIQUID METAL SLIDES

I have a pair of White Nike Benassi Solarsoft, known commonly as "slides", they are lush and my favourite pair of footwear at the minute. With socks and without, cobbled streets of Soho to the hustle and bustle of Oxford Street, the silver pair are very attractive to me..I cannot wait to get my hands on a pair.

LCM : Thomas Pink AW14

I had the divine pleasure of attending the Thomas Pink AW14 presentation, the display of the clothes, flawless and quirky models were amazing. With the flawless presentation came nostalgic 80s and 90s rock and pop hits which the audience and even had some of the models jiving and moving!!

An industrial construction with wooden panels was displayed in a room with models, looking and dressed ever so dapper stood posing for the audience. I loved every second of it, the clothing was faultless, and the selection of models was a great choice, from young men to bearded older guys (stunning!). Every so half hour the models swapped, the collection was beautiful, the vibrant colors, elegant and stylist tailoring which made my heart completely melt.

LCM : Burberry Prorsum AW14

Christopher Bailey....a man of mastermind qualities. The Burberry AW14 show made me whimper, smile, obviously the show was just incredible it was more than just a show but a display of tailoring brilliance. Luxuriantly designed and baroque tainted, conjoined with some slight accents of  Russian Constructivism is what Burberry gave us....

The accessories of bags and the silk throw-overs made all weep like new born babies, I loved the attentive intricacy paid to tapestry which was applied to each bag. I obviously want one now, they are literally lush moving carpets and certainly harks to the typical husky Autumn/Winter vibe. The model selection I must add just for visual aesthetic appeal was perfect, a personal favorite was model, Sang Woo.

OOTD: Yellow and Pink..

As you can see I've ventured for an unusual option of color palette, yellow and pink. It is quite odd but felt slyly right, the yellow is popping and the pink feel luxurious, nevertheless it does turn heads whether you find it hideous or daringly decadent. The full outfit consisted of floor length fur, black polo, pink corduroy trousers, tartan scarf and yellow new balances, I wore this outfit to London Collections Men.
